Bradford on Avon Overlooked by sunny terraces of weavers' cottages reached by narrow passages and steps. This lovely old Saxon town has a continental air with its quaint streets, a wide variety of flower-decked shops and host of cafes and restaurants. Cumberwell Park (approx. 1 mile) One of the best Golf clubs in the area and has 27 magnificent holes - each nine being different and all coming back to the Club House.
Kingsdown (approx. 5 miles) Offers a parkland course with tight fairways but stunning views towards Bath and Box Tunnel.
Canoeing, biking along the canal, Sally Boats for hire, tennis courts, bowling, cricket and football are all popular sports available in the town.
